An opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join a large, well-known contractor in the lower mainland!

Your new company

Our client, a well-established and reputable company, is seeking an
Electrical Project Manager to contribute to their continued growth. As part of their team, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing commercial, industrial, and tenant improvement projects. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality work and building strong client relationships, this opportunity is for you.


Your new role

  • Develop and manage schedules, resource plans, procurement, commissions, and risk mitigation
  • Complete and communicate accurate and detailed documentation, including drawings, testing, schedule, and budget
  • Oversee projects to ensure the highest quality is delivered to our clients
  • Conduct monthly project billing, reconciliation of projects and ongoing invoicing
  • Manage the project team and technical staff to ensure the project is within scope, budget and schedule, and ensure milestones are met
  • Provide direction, leadership, and support to all project team members
  • Proactively assess risks and develop plans to align with safety regulations; ensure a safe and healthy work environment, and participate in safety committee meetings
  • Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
  • Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a pool of resources; manage selection of subcontracts for projects where required
  • Occasionally, prepare estimates of material, labor, and equipment costs for projects, as well as bids, quotations, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare change order estimates of material, labor, and equipment costs for projects that you will be managing



What you'll need to succeed

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with commercial projects in the local Vancouver Electrical Industry.Education: Trades Qualified.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and project software.
Strong computer skills.
Time Management: Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet multiple deadlines.
