Our client is a leading provider of enterprise-level solutions in electronic security, fire alarm & life safety, healthcare technologies, communications, audio-visual, building automation, managed services, as well as data & financial security.

Your new role

They are looking for a General Manager to join the team and oversee the GTA branch.

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and growth of the branch, including developing and executing strategic plans, managing P&L, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will also be accountable for recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of sales and operations managers and staff, who will deliver cutting-edge solutions to all clients across various sectors.


To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A management bachelor's degree, or a similar degree
  • At least ten years of expertise in business and people management, with at least five years of experience leading sales teams and five years or more of operations teams.
  • Broad expertise and familiarity with enterprise solutions.
  • Proof of longevity and allegiance to prior employers in the community
  • Prior work experience in an entry-level technical role
  • Depth of Greater Toronto Area market expertise and connections
  • Proof of a notable increase in P&L during your time at the company
  • Capacity to assemble strong teams and hire from the market
  • Professionalism and maturity, as well as the capacity to inspire confidence in your clients and team
  • Capacity to foster relationships and empower colleagues in order to build future corporate leaders
