This growing law firm has two locations across the GTA and is has an impressive plan for the future. Along with its increasing headcount comes this newly created vacancy for a Commercial Litigation Law Clerk.

The firm emphasizes flexibility and work/life balance in its collegian office environment. Many staff work on a hybrid or fully remote model, which is also available to for a senior candidate in this role.

Your new role

As a Senior Commercial Litigation Law Clerk, you will be working 1:1 with the Managing Partner who sits in the state-of-the-art, newly renovated Oakville office, although you have the ability to work completely remote if you like.

This Partner has a busy and thriving litigation practice and you will be working alongside another Senior Clerk. There is no docket target for this position. Instead, your success is measured by how efficiently and expertly you're able to assist the Partner in the drafting of pleadings, affidavits, preparing trial and settlement briefs and overall contribute to the success of the Partner's practice.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of 4 years of experience working in commercial litigation, ideally supporting a Partner or Senior Associate. Candidates with some mortgage enforcement and/or construction liens experience are preferred, however the firm is willing to train in these areas.

What you'll get in return

Competitive base salary ranging from $60,000-85,000 depending on experience level, 3-4 weeks of vacation, benefits from day one and the ability to work fully remote.
