Senior Strata Manager wanted to grow portfolio from ground up!

Your New Company

Converge Condo Management is on a mission to professionalize the strata management industry. They are dedicated to providing unparalleled customer service and advice to strata clients, which in turn allows strata board members the peace of mind to enjoy both strata living and investment. With current portfolios in Edmonton, Calgary, and Victoria, Converge is looking to grow their Vancouver presence. With roughly eight years in the strata management business, they pride themselves on utilizing technology to advance the world of strata management and putting people first.

Your New Role

We are seeking a well-established Strata Manager to help build out Converge Condo’s Vancouver portfolio. This position will focus on creating strong relationships with industry partners to help establish Converge’s name in the local market. You will attend coffee meetings with board members and developers, as well as networking events to grow your connections. Ideally, you will leverage your own network to support Converge’s growth. Once Converge becomes established in the local market, you will play an imperative role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling client concerns. Key duties will include managing the long-term financial and physical health of buildings, liaising between board members and contractors, advising boards regarding professional consultants and fees, ensuring compliance with government regulations and strata corporation policies, and managing Converge’s Vancouver business operations.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you must possess strong communication skills and a good understanding of the strata market in Vancouver, BC. As this role has a large focus on business development, it is crucial that you have prior experience building strong relationships with industry leaders and examples of creating overall client growth for an organization. You will need to possess strong business and financial acumen, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset. This position is ideal for someone with leadership experience and over 5 years within the strata industry. A Strata Management license would be considered a strong asset.

What You'll Get in Return

In return for your expertise and dedication, you will be compensated with a competitive base salary ($70,000 – $90,000 per annum) plus a discretionary bonus and options for equity. On top of salary, this role includes 4 weeks of vacation, payment in lieu of benefits, the opportunity to be fully remote, and the chance to help grow the business from the ground up!

This is a rare opportunity to enhance your strata management experience and advance your own career.
