Your Role & Responsibilities
Description:
Our Marketing, Brand & Communications team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business. We’re looking for a talented and experienced Web Designer to join our innovative Brand, Web & Creative team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually stunning, user-friendly, and responsive website experiences that align with our client’s brand identity and strategic objectives.
The successful candidate is a highly creative, detail-oriented and efficient Web Designer who has knowledge and experience using a broad range of creative digital tools and technologies as they pertain to web design.
Responsibilities :
- Under the direction of the Manager, Brand, Web & Creative, the successful candidate will:
- Design and build engaging, mobile-responsive website layouts and user interfaces that provide an optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with other teams to translate ideas and concepts into cohesive and functional web experiences
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions
- Ensure designs adhere to best practices in web usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility
- Optimize web pages for performance, speed, and search engine visibility
- Participate in client presentations and design reviews to gather feedback and incorporate iteration.
- Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing client websites as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and industry standards
What you’ll need to succeed
• A strong portfolio that clearly demonstrates the necessary skills for the role • 3–5 years of professional experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive web design • Expertise in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma • Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience best practices, and cross-browser compatibility • Extensive experience with content management systems (Optimizely, Webflow, SiteCore and/or Adobe Experience Manager preferred) • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with animation and motion design for the web • Familiarity with web development frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and guidelines
