Project Manager - Infrastructure Architecture (Contract Position)
Length: October 1, 2024 – October 3, 2025, 1 Year Contract
Location: Vancouver

Join a leading technology services organization that is at the forefront of infrastructure architecture design and management. As a Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our upcoming project.

Your New Role:
As the Project Manager for our infrastructure architecture initiative, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Project Initiation and Planning:
    • Create a comprehensive
      Project Charter that outlines project objectives, scope, and stakeholders.
    • Develop an Integrated Project Plan that includes milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Prepare and manage Change Requests as needed during the project.
    • Collaborate with the architecture team to create and present project-related documents to TransLink for approval (e.g., Project Charter, budget, schedule, architecture diagrams, blueprints).
  • Project Execution and Monitoring:
    • Coordinate all project-related meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
    • Provide weekly project status reports that cover schedule progress, cost updates, and any deviations.
    • Generate daily status reports during planning and design phases, as well as during community campus implementations.
    • Manage deployment activities and liaise with field technicians to ensure smooth execution.
  • Project Closure:
    • Prepare a comprehensive
      Close-Out Report summarizing project achievements, lessons learned, and recommendations.
    • Facilitate final review meetings and ensure all project documentation is complete.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in technology infrastructure projects.
  • Education:
    You must be PMP Certified and have a solid understanding of PMBOK Standards.
  • Location: Based in Vancouver, BC.
  • Skills:
    Proficiency in project management tools, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
