Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a leading real estate company based in Vancouver. We are currently hiring an HR Generalist to join their team on a contract basis, which has the strong possibility of converting to a permanent position after 3 months. This candidate will be required to work 5 days on-site at their Vancouver office.

Your new role

• Helping heavily on the recruitment side, support on phone screens first round of interviews
• Coordinate and maintain HRIS system along with the HR Team
• Conduct all background and reference checks, connect with hiring managers
• Managing the full-cycle recruitment including: creating job descriptions, conducting interviews and pre-screening candidates, managing all onboarding/ background checks and reference checks, assisting with letter creations, termination letters, confirmation letters, policies, reviewing

What you'll need to succeed

• 1-2+ years of Human Resources experience is required
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Previous experience using HRIS systems such as BambooHR would be an asset
• Strong recruitment experience is required
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

What you'll get in return

This position is offering $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.
