Privately owned Development and Construction Management company with a focus on multifamily wood frame projects across Vancouver is looking to hire a Superintendent. They are selective in the clients they work with and do not chase volume, rather they work with a select group of quality companies on a repeat basis.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the construction of a wood frame multifamily project. The company has projects pending in both North Vancouver and the Surrey/Langley area. The company like to involve their Superintendents from preconstruction stage whenever possible, but if current commitments mean you can’t join right away, that would not be a problem. The company takes pride in hiring the right people and, as such, they have a high-performing team. They are looking for a candidate who is career driven, passionate about construction and focused on delivering a quality end product.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you will have 10+ years of relevant construction management experience as Superintendent. A preference will be given to those candidates with wood frame multifamily project exposure. Strong interpersonal and organization skills are extremely important. Excellent relationships with sub trades and contractors are a pillar of this client's business model.
