Sr. Account Manager - Bolton

Our client seeks a skilled Account Manager in the Bolton area. In this role, the individual will offer technical support and devise intelligent formwork solutions to address customer requirements, while maintaining a commitment to excellence in execution and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The sales expert will play a pivotal role in amplifying our client’s market footprint and will be responsible for optimizing sales and fostering business growth.
Your new role
Identify potential clients, proactively initiate contact, and skilfully convert prospects into sales through effective cold calling and meetings.
Expand business with both new and existing accounts by directly engaging customers and building strong relationships.
Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive customer/prospect database, ensuring detailed information is readily available for effective sales and relationship management.
Work closely with engineering and other departments to create accurate, customer-focused proposals that highlight the unique features and benefits of our products.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, emphasizing the value proposition to effectively close sales.
Partner with engineering on contracted jobs, securing approved drawings and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
Conduct regular visits to job sites, providing guidance to workers on safe and efficient equipment use, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing product performance.
Handle all credit interactions with customers, including invoice approvals, credit requests, and prompt payment facilitation.
Accurately complete weekly sales reports, providing essential data for sales projections and backlog management.
Continuously build product knowledge, enabling more effective sales and superior Customer Service.
Assist in promoting safe working practices and maintaining a secure work environment, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction preferred.
5–7 years of Sales/Account Management experience, with experience in concrete forming industry being an asset.
Strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective selling and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn new systems and techniques.
