Fantastic Residential Chief Engineer Opportunity in Oakland for Luxury High Rise
Your new company
HAYS has partnered with a national 3rd party facilities and maintenance service provider. They are looking for a Chief Engineer for a Luxury High-Rise in Northern California to lead a Class A 400-unit Mixed Use High Rise and team management of both maintenance and janitorial staff.
Your new role
You will be responsible for all preventative and prescriptive maintenance/janitorial duties.
- Supervise team on maintaining property to it's highest standards.
- Managing and preparing budgets.
- Adhere to safety standards for both residents and tenants.
- Responsible for project management of any renovations or capital improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of activity and productivity of the team for management.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in Multifamily Maintenance Management (mixed use building experience is a plus!)
- Certifications in PE, CFM, CHFM, CPE, CEM, CHCP, CHESP, and MBA are a plus!
- Experience in team management of 10+ employees.
- Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or similar field.
- Software experience with BMS, CMS, and general resident portal knowledge is a MUST!
- Strong focus on providing exceptional resident service and experience.
