Now hiring a Senior Admin Assistant in Hardisty for a 1 year contract!

Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Senior)
Location: Hardisty, AB (hybrid)
Duration: 1 year contract

Your New Company
A leading company in the Canadian Gas Operations industry is looking to add a member to their team for a 1 year contract.

Your new role
  • Provides a wide variety of administrative support to an organizational unit or department. Leads budget preparation and control activities.
  • Assists in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc.
  • Administers processes, programs, databases specific to the operating area.
  • Serves as liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations for the department.
  • Maintains and orders office supply inventory.
  • Coordinates/plans and schedules technician training in collaboration with head office team and local training vendors.
  • Will plan departmental events, provide technology support and troubleshooting to team members, maintain schedules, book meetings and travel arrangements, facilitate payments of invoices, support leaders and team members with time entry and expense reports, conduct research for leaders or team members, etc.
  • Provides confidential support to Operations area manager, maintenance lead and operations lead. Manages capital tool request, approval and order program and maintenance and reporting associated with federal hours of work permit.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the organization and the policies.
  • May provide guidance to less experience Associates and manage their work. At this level they are adaptable and can manage complex problems using sound judgment.
  • Advance computer skills are required.
  • Site flexible between Oil Operations Terminal in Hardisty, AB and Area Office in Wainwright, AB. Consistent periodic presence at both locations will be required.
