Accounts Payable Clerk

Role: Accounts Payable Clerk
Salary: $50 - $55,000
Location: Downtown Vancouver (In office)


Hays Recruitment is currently working with a market - leader in commercial real estate management, offering various services such as commercial property management, accounting services, client advisory services, to name a few.


Day to Day:


  • Receive invoices submitted by email and mail, upload to a cloud-based A/P partnership program, code the invoices and follow up with the Property Managers for approval.
  • Issue payments in the office and through an A/P partnership program.
  • Assist senior accounting team with Budget Preparation for approval by Property Managers.
  • Issue residential rent increase notices for property Managers to sign and update tenant ledgers with increases.
  • Trust Account Bank Reconciliations.
  • General Ledger Journal Entries.
  • Help senior accounting team with preparation of GST, Parking Tax Levy and Worksafe BC Returns.
  • Associated Filing.


What you will need:


  • 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Property management experience is a plus.
