Job Responsibilities:
1. Translates business requirements to functional and technical requirements.
2. Defines minimum feature set, acceptance criteria, user acceptance tests.
3. Contributes to planning and implementation for new applications and systems.
4. Monitors system performance and recommends enhancements for underperforming areas.
5. Applies in depth knowledge of applications in troubleshooting or problem-solving across teams.
6. Documents Manual Test Cases, Regression and Smoke test suite to identified problems.
7. Thinks to improve the quality of product and QA best practices.
8. Assists in testing and participates in test phases prior to UAT.
9. Updates technical specs based on testing, prioritized defects or post-release lessons learnt.
10. Supports communication for application/system deployment.
11. Knows to reproduce production issues into Stage and QA environment for debugging.
12. Effectively manage and report on QA risks and mitigation and QA timelines.
13. Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for QA timelines.
14. Ability to manage in Agile, Kanban and Scrum environments.
15. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple project deadlines.
16. Stakeholder communication - Any deviations in QA timelines are tracked and dealt with in a timely fashion.
17. Familiarity and Experience with Java unit testing frameworks would be considered as a great asset.
18. Understands SDLC and the significance of Shift Left and the need for test automation towards the same.

Top 3 Required Skills
1. Automation experience in Oracle Xstore 17 (POS) and hardware devices.
2. System Performance Testing Experience for Oracle Xstore 17 (POS) will be considered an asset.
3. Familiarity with IT SDLC processes, Agile, Scrum, Kanban
