Our client, a global fully integrated architecture & engineering firm, is looking to add a Commercial Studio Manager to their team in Calgary. Your new role
Your new firm is looking for a Studio Manager/Associate who will lead a multi-disciplined team and will be responsible for the overall success of the commercial studio. In this position you will be providing mentorship, and be responsible for managing the staffing levels of your team in addition to administrative and HR duties. You will review project work, ensuring there is enough resources and that project deliverables are kept on schedule to ensure financial success. As the Manager you will also be involved with the financial management, based on revenue forecast and growth objectives and will contributing to the office’s annual operating budget. You will participate in business development, attend client meetings, meet with stakeholders and share expert knowledge your studio team. From time to time you will also be involved in billable project activities.

What you'll need to succeed
The right candidate will possess impressive interpersonal skills and will h ave a minimum of 10 years of experience in the architecture industry and have worked in a leadership capacity. You will possess sound knowledge of architectural design and presentation, permits, buildings codes, and intermediate M&E. You will have completed related post-secondary education. Having been registered with a relevant professional architectural association is an asset but not required.
