Hays Electrical Contracting team in Vancouver is recruiting for a Service Project Manager/Estimator to work for our client in Downtown Vancouver.

Your new Role:
As the Electrical Service Project Manager/Estimator you will support overall project development in electrical service. Day to day tasks will include but are not limited to; Overseeing daily service requests, working with systems like Timberline, Accubid, and Site docs, Coordinating work to be done with customers and service technicians, Ensuring safety is being addressed for every job, Arranging and attending site visits to gather information for quotes, Attending bi-weekly service meetings, Working with other Project Managers to make sure all customers’ needs are being taken care of, Build and submit quotes as required by a service customer, or in response to an RFI/ RFP, Working with service technicians to ensure their schedules are filled in, and that they are aware of upcoming scheduled work, Review work orders and invoices to make sure they are accurate, Maintaining proper records of the jobs you are working on, tracking of the financial blueprints on jobs and ensuring to track profit/ loss.
What you’ll need to Succeed:
To succeed as the Electrical Service Project Manager/Estimator you will hold a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in Electrical construction and service, a Post-secondary undergraduate degree, PMP certification is preferred but not required, Procore and Trimble Accubid knowledge preferred but not required. You will be someone who can lead from the front and feel confident communicating with team members and new business prospects.
