Hays has recently partnered with a leading global Insurance and financial services company who specialize in surety, collections, structured trade credit and political risk. The company is looking to add a Sales Agent to their team in Toronto who is outgoing, with strong hunting and business development skills.
Your new role
You are responsible for developing new business in the GTA. You will take a consultative sales approach ensuring that the interests of the company and the client are best served through effective relationships with policyholders as well as Underwriting, Claims and other home office staff. You will also provide assistance to Risk Underwriting in gathering relevant information on debtors and/or policyholders.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be able to develop new business through cold calling, third party referrals (banks, insurance brokers, etc.), trade associations and other sources. You will have 3+ years of sales experience in a related industry or position that required a high volume of business development. You must be Goal-oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence and determination.
What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will receive a base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 plus commission, car allowance and company benefits. This role presents an amazing opportunity to join a team of driven sales professionals within the Financial Services industry.
