Sales Administrator - Commodity Importation -Vancouver - Hybrid Remote-Contract 6 Month to Permanent

This Japanese based import/export company is looking for an enthusiastic sales admin to join their steel division in Vancouver. This is a great opportunity for a recent university / college grad looking to for a company they can grow with!

Your new role
As sales admin you will provide expertise in the efficient administration of trade contracts including data base set-up and invoicing for payment, inventory management, ensuring shipping and receiving timelines, documentation and control of payables and receivables, credit applications and other general duties in supplying value for service to customers within an assigned group of accounts. You will work across different departments and get to see multiple sides of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need excellent administrative and control skills, good time management skills and a solid understanding of contract details and procedures to be observed under corporate guidelines. A basic knowledge of inland / overseas logistics and currency conversions would be a huge asset. You’ll be proficient in the use of general office equipment including payables/receivables, control strategies for accurate accounting, and office support programs such as MS Office etc. Speaking Japanese is considered a bonus but only strong written and oral English is a requirement.
