Disaster Restoration Project Manager Toronto North, Total compensation over $120,000

Our client is a Leading Restoration Specialist in the GTA, providing 24-hour response to the personal and property needs of homeowners and commercial businesses overcoming the devastating property setbacks inflicted by fire, flood, wind and other perils.

Your new role
• Manage all aspects of emergency restoration claims (scoping, sketching, estimating, coordination of resources, communication with all interested parties)
• Ensure the estimate and file completion timelines are met as per the companies KPI’s
• Communicate and educate the client on the process of insurance claims, the timing of service delivery and realistic expectations
• Prepare accurate job costing and estimation, ensuring target margins are met
• Maintain subcontractor and third party relationships while ensuring contract compliance
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building and maintaining relationships
• Inspect progress and ensure work quality throughout the project lifespan
• Ability to manage competing demands
• Execution and compliance of company initiatives, policies and procedures
• Consistent communication, daily / weekly reporting
• Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct
• Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work
• Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed
• 2-5 years of work experience in the Construction/Restoration industry
• Minimum 3 years as a Project Manager
• Proficient software skills - MS office suite, Xactimate and Xactanalysis
• IICRC (WRT, FSRT) is required
• IICRC (Odour, Applied Structural Drying, Applied Microbial Remediation Technician, Health and Safety Technician) is an asset
• Proven ability to manage, coach and mentor team members
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documentation provided by consultants
• Strong working knowledge of construction theories and Ontario Building Code
• Ability to work safely and efficiently within a team environment or independently
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong drive to see project through to completion

What you'll get in return
$80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year plus vehicle, benefits, commissions
