Your new role
In this intermediate role, you will be an integral part of the design development team for single family luxury estate homes. You will be involved in the creation of construction packages that will be provided to the construction administration team and estimating department. Producing architectural drawings specific to customer agreements whilst also creating innovate stock plans through collaboration with the Product Development team. A main responsibility will also be producing full set of working drawings from basic sketches and redesigning plans as needed to meet customer’s needs. It is a team based atmosphere therefore providing support to sales and construction team would be integral to the success of the projects. You will also be attending producing and planning meetings
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an education from accredited program in Architecture of Architectural Technology. You will possess and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of local practices, building codes and standards. You will be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe an asset but not a requirement would be to have previous knowledge or exposure to Revit. We are looking for someone with a creative and “out of the box” thinker who has solid visualization skills and takes great pride in their work, someone who is actively engaged in understanding industry changes. You will be proactive and possess strong time management skills and be able to work in a collaborative team that is detail oriented. The ideal candidate will be result-oriented and not be afraid to take on a challenge.
