Due to continued growth, the business is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in North America - this position is part work from home, part time in office, in Wood bridge, Ontario.

Your new Role

As the Human Resources Business Partner, your primary function will be to oversee the day to day operations of the Human Resources business function across Canada. You will drive performance management and compensation practices, develop, propose, implement and evaluate Human Resources politics and procedures, in accordance with national and provincial laws and local best practices. You will develop and deliver associate and management training on all Human Resources related topics. You will manage administrative functions for all; benefits programs, inclusive of paid time off, professional development, health and welfare benefits, short- and - long term disability leaves, retirement savings programs and all other employee benefit programs.

What you’ll need to Succeed

To succeed as the Human Resources Business Partner, you will bring a Bachelors degree in a related field. You will have 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience; HR supervisory experience is preferred. A professional level certification is considered an asset; you will be a strong leader, who enjoys coaching and partnering capability combined with the demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility. Experience working across a wide set of HR disciplines including: compensation, recruitment, employee relations, organizational development, talent management and diversity and inclusion. You will have working knowledge of quality improvement, change management, strategic planning, organizational assessment, and leadership development. You will maintain excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and solid oral and written communication skills.
