The VANCOUVER office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, one of Canada’s largest law firms, is seeking a Document Specialist to join the Intellectual Property (Patents) Group.

Your new role
These positions will appeal to candidates interested in supporting the firm with a seamless, professional, accurate and efficient document production service. The Document Specialist is a highly specialised role and will be primarily responsible for producing, formatting and amending client correspondence, documents, reports, and attachments related to the Financial Services practice, in accordance with client special instructions and using the firm’s specific systems/procedures amongst other duties.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful incumbent will possess a minimum of 3 years’ of experience proving supporting in a Legal Environment or an equivalent area. Must have advanced technical skills, specifically in MS Office and be committed to furthering their knowledge to remain up-to-date on current technology and best practices. Also, must have the ability to strip document formatting and reformat in house style, as well as the ability to repair problem documents either on own or with support from IT.
