Airport Parking Operations Manager, Winnipeg, up to $60,000
Your new company
You will be working for a large national parking company who have parkades and parking operations in every city in Canada. Due to the increase in travel again, they are looking to hire a new Operations manager for their parking operations at Winnipeg Airport.
Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing the running of the parking operations at Winnipeg Airport. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing up to 200 cars at any one time, concierge services, oil changes, cash wash, managing a team of up to 30 staff. You will be responsible for the training and development of your staff and expanding the team as business increases. This role enables you work make you own schedule, however you would be expected to do check-ins to support the staff at various times through-out the week including early hours of the morning.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have strong leadership skills of a minimum of 5+ employees. Strong customer service skills are required for this role as you will be customer facing and dealing with complaint escalations. Some one with a hospitality background could be well suited for this role. My client are looking for personality fit over experience as you will be trained up on the job.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to $60,000, 3 weeks vacation, benefits and the ability to set your own hours.
