Our client , a construction company based in the Hamilton area are looking to add an experienced Controller to their growing organisation.

Your new role
At he Controller you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial reporting packages as well as carrying out financial analysis to support company decision making. The Controller will oversee project cost reporting and well as budgeting and taxation. The Controller will be responsible for managing payroll and government reporting. The Controller will assist in the preparation of cash flow reports and the monthly draw process. The Controller will be responsible for maintaining internal controls and secure financing for all projects.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role of Controller you will ideally hold an MBA as well as a CPA designation. The Controller will need to an expert within the construction industry and preferably have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a controller or similar position within the construction/development industry. The Controller with need to have proven success in managing a team and ideally have had prior experience with construction/real estate specific accounting software.
