Sales Representative - Strategic Services

Endress + Hauser Canada, a leading global supplier of products, solutions and services for industrial process measurement and automation is looking to add Sales Representative - Strategic Services to their well-established sales team in their Calgary office. They have an excellent reputation within their sector and looking to add a strong results driven sales professional to their team as soon as possible.

As a Strategic Services Sales Representative you will be responsible for profitable sales growth in your area of responsibility. Promote and lead the sales of Endress+Hauser’s Strategic Services to all customers and prospects in your area while collaborating with the local Technical Sales Representatives. Ensure customers’ needs are understood by the organization and that all customers are highly satisfied with our consultative, professional and sustainable approach.

In this role you will be in charge of selling the full range of Endress+Hauser services in a competent and professional manner. Development of leads to opportunities to closed won orders. Professional handover from acquired business to the Projects & Service execution teams, while maintaining superior customer service and relationships though-out and on-going. Provide subject matter leadership with in the assigned region for Strategic Services. Proactively manage prospective customer meetings and presentations. Sharing of marketing intelligence with associates. Weekly submission of planning sheets, summary reports and call reports of sales activity requiring further action. Weekly submission of expense reports. Quarterly review of plan with Team Leader - Strategic Solutions and Services – Sales including quarterly planning sheet. Mutual establishment of annual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) with Team Leader - Strategic Solutions and Services – Sales. Develop and implement strategic sales plans for assigned region with respect to Strategic Services working with the Projects, Service, Marketing, Regional Sales Teams and Independent Representatives/Distributors, to achieve the Company’s, service sales targets. Maintain within SFDC all Forecast activities, Customer Interactions, Leads and Opportunities. Advise customers on the proper Endress+Hauser services based on their business needs. Consult stakeholders from other processes in order to fully satisfy the customers’ service needs. Any other duties as assigned.

To be successful in the position you will be Post-secondary technical education preferably in instrumentation, process control, automation, electronics or engineering. Minimum 5 years of industry experience. Minimum 3 years of Professional Services Sales experience in Automation or Instrumentation. Knowledge of an ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Excellent communication skills to work well with diverse individuals, groups and with internal & external customers. Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines. Travel of approximately 25-30%.
