Your new role
The Team Lead, Change Management & Communications plays a key leadership role within the crossfunctional
project team responsible for implementing a large, corporate-wide Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) program. This role is responsible for the overall management of the Change
Management & Communications work stream – an area which is essential for realizing long-term, strategic
value for the organization. This role will oversee the delivery of integrated change management,
communications and training strategies, and supporting activities, required for successful adoption of the
ERP platform. They will also be responsible for reporting on project activities, timelines, costs and
deliverables to the Program Coordinator, as well as executive-level leaders within the organization,
including the Program Sponsor and Program Executive.
The successful candidate is a seasoned professional with demonstrated project-based core competencies
in change management, communications and training. Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO)
environment with a firm understanding of best practices in project management methodologies, processes
and governance is essential.
The ERP program implementation is complex and will reach across all lines of business. The successful
candidate must demonstrate the ability to influence change, lead high-performance teams and manage
stakeholders at multiple levels to deliver results on time and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed
Post-secondary degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Organizational
Change management certification or designation is an asset.
More than 10 years of experience as a senior leader across change management, training and
project management and marketing with a proven track record of successful delivery in large,
complex and diverse organizations.
Experience developing and leading high performance teams.
Superior analytical problem solving ability to deal with project issues that are escalated to
Proven knowledge of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
Proven experience managing change and implementing change management strategies for largescale
Strong financial management skills and the ability to successfully manage project budgets.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a changing environment and support with change management
and devise appropriate communications and training recommendations.
Strong ability to proactively identify, manage and mitigate sensitive issues throughout the business,
providing recommendations on responses and actions.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype and SharePoint.
What you'll get in return
This position is a 12 month contract with the likelihood of extension of permanency. This position is offering a salary of $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 with room for negotiation.
